Grants - Eligibility

Who may apply?

The Trustees are able to consider applications for grants from artists resident in the UK.

Artists

We can fund visual artists e.g. painters, potters, sculptors and photographers. Sadly we don’t fund performing artists. 

Our grants are for materials to make works or prepare work for exhibitions (e.g. framing).

The Trustees are always pleased to see photos of the artist’s work or a link to the artist’s website.

All applications will be considered on their merits. In our assessment of need we aim to be consistent and fair.

Ineligible applications

If you have already received a grant from us, we cannot award a second grant.  This is because our funds are limited. We hope you understand.

We do not fund educational fees or recurring expenses such as mortgage repayments, rent, fuel or phone bills, medical care, or to pay off creditors.
